Note: Subclause 71(14) of the Notice of Ways and Means Motion tabled on November 17, 2025 included a technical error. The words "and before December 31, 2025" were inadvertently included in subclause 71(14). The amendments referred to in that subclause are intended to apply to taxation years that end after December 30, 2024, as well as to subsequent years. The explanatory notes have been prepared to reflect this intended result.
